5 Ways Archetypal Psychology Therapist Inspires Growth
Behind the Sphinx
I’m Zsuzsanna Tardi, a Hungarian bibliotherapist who uses fairy tales to help people make sense of their inner world; not by escaping into stories, but by finding themselves inside them.
I studied Literature and Cultural Studies for my BA, then earned my MAs in the same field and in Art Management, and I’ve never stopped learning since.
A few years later, I found my way to fairy tale therapy, and something clicked. Fairy tale therapy brought everything I loved into one place: stories, symbols, psychology, and creativity. It gave me the language I had been searching for, one that helped me reconnect with myself, and inspired me to help others do the same.
That’s how Stories of the Sphinx came to life.
As a mythic healing practitioner, I guide people through narrative therapy with myths, tarot, and reflective art-making to transform inherited patterns into conscious choices.
Through symbolic healing through art, we bring your inner story to life. And since I work exclusively online, you can begin your journey from anywhere with my online archetypal therapy sessions.

My Journey
Since childhood, I’ve found comfort in stories. When life felt overwhelming, I would imagine a different world, one that made more sense, or felt more magical. Later, books became my refuge, and I’d follow the hero’s journey until I found my way back to myself.
As I grew older, I turned to writing and even published a poetry book at eighteen. But soon after, I felt creatively blocked. It took years of inner work to see the cause wasn’t talent or discipline, but something deeper.
I began noticing how many of us live out ancient stories without realizing it, shaped by inherited roles, archetypes, and beliefs that quietly write our scripts. I started unlearning the ones that told me perfection was the only option, that mistakes meant failure, and failure meant punishment.
I created this space because I believe we are more than the roles we’ve inherited or the scripts we’ve been handed. We’re here to reclaim our voice, rewrite what no longer fits, and remember who we were before we forgot.
My Aproach
I’m a qualified Jungian fairy tale therapist. As the Sphinx, I’m your mythical guide inviting transformation through story, symbol, and creative expression.
I believe stories shape our reality and carry deeper meanings than we often realize. By exploring the symbols, archetypes, and themes within myths, fairy tales, and personal narratives, we can uncover hidden patterns and reshape our life stories with curiosity, creativity, and discovery.
For example, Jung’s work on archetypes shows how these universal patterns influence our inner world.
In my practice, we use guided storytelling and reflective art-making to:
- ✵ Recognize recurring themes in your life and how they influence your choices
- ✵ Discover the hidden wisdom in myths and fairy tales that mirror your own journey
- ✵ Reshape your inner dialogue and self-image in a way that empowers healing and growth
- ✵ Find personal transformation by connecting with different characters and their journeys
- ✵ Map out a new path forward through the wisdom of narrative psychology
Using creative exercises like drawing, collage, and claying, we don’t just talk about your experiences, we engage them with your whole self, making healing a lived, embodied process.
This unique blend of art therapy, mythology, tarot, and astrology invites soulful insight and helps you reclaim your voice as the true author of your story. Learn more about how art therapy supports mental health from the American Art Therapy Association.
